Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blind needs to be put out of his misery. Never been good enough for Utd yet he has plenty of fans. Fellani has his critics and the failure lies entirely with Van Gaal to be fair.

5 shots on target would be a start.

Blind is an decent squad utility player,as is Fel.

We simply don't have anyone else fit.

What has Memphis done to not be starting this game?

Very debatable. Neither of them would be anywhere near a Barca, Bayern or Real squad. Even City and Arsenal wouldn't entertain them.

That's not an excuse for why they are integral to the team and were so even before the injuries.

So have a load of others and they are still getting game time. Memphis has had two pretty good sub appearances. If Lingard is straight back in then surely Memphis should be worth a start.

    Penalty?

That was as harsh as it comes but I'll take it

    That's a disgusting decision.

You're right, you should be allowed have your hand at face level and block the ball with it.

Glad we scored but what a ridiculous decision

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,837 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Last replay there shows that it should have been a peno... thought not originally

    That is bittersweet

We don't deserve that at all

I actually think it was a pen. He turned around and deliberately left his arm out. I actually think it's a stonewall pen.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,631 ✭✭✭✭Hank Scorpio

What's his arm doing up there? He blocked the header. Don't get the uproar tbh

I know people say it a lot and often but Robbie Savage really is dire, like legitimately one of the least intelligent, incisive or cohesive people ever to be paid to talk about football on television. He's gone out here tonight to have a go at Man Utd, even when the opening 5 minutes doesn't support anything he says and it's only 5 minutes in! Usually I don't care that much about football punditry, especially of the Premier League, where the conversation is often so painfully basic and obvious, but Savage is one of the very few who is an active detriment to enjoying football coverage on TV.

Stonewall peno tbf. Justice is served. 0-1

Scandalous decision; WTF was Dean thinking of?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Arm in unnatural position and blocked the ball that was going towards goal.

Still think it was a little harsh but i can see that technically it was a pen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,057 ✭✭✭UrbanFret

One of the most bent decisions ever. Disgraceful.

Looked soft as anything though. Would need to see again.
