Herrera is so silky on the ball :)

Some "co-commentators" really struggle to hide their spite toward a team.

It's amazing though considering they're his tip to win the league. He's an awful pundit.

who's to say that's not a natural position for him to have his arm in.

The referee.. he didnt even jump just stuck his hand up towards Fellaini's head who was heading the ball... hardly natural !

    What are you at Fellaini?

EDIT: Your man threw himself in front of it Vidic style!

He seems to have his arms down by his side for the other 23 mins so far.

I could be wrong here but i dont see him walking around with his hands in line with his head.

Fellaini be lucky to stay on the pitch at this rate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Fellaini should've given him a proper kick.

If you support them it's a penalty, to everyone else it's clearly not. his arm is about 4 inches from the toilet brushs head, how is he supposed to get it out of the way?

Nice work by Fellaini, but Rooney should have done better.

I know people say it a lot and often but Robbie Savage really is dire, like legitimately one of the least intelligent, incisive or cohesive people ever to be paid to talk about football on television. He's gone out here tonight to have a go at Man Utd, even when the opening 5 minutes doesn't support anything he says and it's only 5 minutes in! Usually I don't care that much about football punditry, especially of the Premier League, where the conversation is often so painfully basic and obvious, but Savage is one of the very few who is an active detriment to enjoying football coverage on TV.

I quote from the latest secret footballer book:
The pundit doesn't know what to do with himself post-football and is scared of mixing it in the real world so says things that are likely to cause social media storms which are good for ratings (Robbie Savage)

    He is a monumental bellend.

Newcastle perfect opposition for united, very tentative.

    Should've scored.

    Good man De Gea

    that was a class 1-2

Didn't even expect Rooney to hit the target then, he's really regressed big time

    Save by the De Gea.

Not watching the game but saw the vine of the penalty decision. If a player has his arm up there he has no grounds for complaint in my eyes.

Lucky; could have been a foul and a red for Fel, and should have been a penalty for them.

All them at the moment. They're looking far more likely to score....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,586 ✭✭✭Canadel

Fellani fortunate not to be off and that could easily have been given as a penalty for Newcastle.

Utd clearly trying to disrupt Newcastle play with constant fouling.
