Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

England's finest with a stunning goal and an assist tonight.

    Get in.

On a side note, it is bizzare to see Utd counter attacking at pace. Great but bizzare considering what's been served up the last couple of years.

    Jesus Newcastle look dreadful.

Struggling for goals? Struggling for form?

Don't worry, Newcastle have you covered. Spineless and gutless shower of fúcks.

Doesn't help when Mike Dean is an incompetent aul so and so.

2 goals in a game and more importantly 2 goals in the first half. Well that's something new for ManUtd fans.

De Gea was getting no where near that if it was on target

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Coloccini's starting position was so deep there, obviously to give himself a few extra yards to sweep up if needs be but even with that head start he still couldn't make the ball, he's so bloody slow.

Unlucky, would have been a cracking goal!

United have played their best stuff the last 2 seasons with Herrera and Fellaini as the centre midfielders.

Someone tell Robbie no one cares what he thinks

  • Great first half

Would like Fellani switched at HT as he's a risk on a yellow for sure

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Perez doesn't look right in this game at all. I have a feeling he could be substituted and sold to Man United at half time. :pac:

Great to see us playing on the counter, not sure if it's because Mata is on the bench or that Newcastle are just terrible.

    Free Palestine 🇵🇸

  • I know it looks like Herrera is key

But Schniederlan is the difference also

He fullfils the DM role perfectly which allows Herrera to make those decisive forward passes

It helps when Newcastle are not afraid to attack which is allowing us some space and especially on the counter

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,987 ✭✭✭Kerrigooney

Are BT trolling us or what? Michael Owen,Robbie Savage,Glenn Hoddle,whoever...all trying to out-stupid each other. Is it because they know it gets a reaction? People will talk about them? What? I can't understand it. It's mind boggling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

    Die, BT.

    Just die.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,605 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Thanks to the early penalty, Newcastle havent been able to sit back with 10 in the box and counter, in the usual manner that we have no answer to. So it's been a great game.

Wouldn't say its over yet though; both teams look very shakey at the back.

I hope Fellaini is taken off at half time either that or swap positions with Herrera.

And there's Savage disagreeing with the refereeing decision of the World Cup final and Champions League final referee Howard Webb. Robbie clearly feels he's got better credentials to judge that decision than Howard.

And what a fine job he made of that

    OptaFact:
If Manchester United score again in the next 45 minutes, it will be the first time they will have scored three goals in a single game in what seems like 26 years."

Pereira on for Fellaini would be nice but it wont happen, I'd be one of Fellaini's biggest fans and he's done well but too much of a risk on that yellow.
