    Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my current old AV receiver.
I am very keen on knowing what ex demo or open box clearance items that you have for sale at the moment.

I would love something along the lines of the Yamaha RXV679 or the STRDN1060 but I am open to your suggestions.

    Thanks and regards

HI narkyMark, thanks for the post

The Yamaha RXV679 is a fantastic amp, and is one I'd really recommend. its hard to beat at the price range at £329/€479 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201510-rxv679.aspx
The Sony 1060 is similar spec, with an extra HDMI and NFC, but packs a lot more punch at 165 wpc as opposed to 90wpc in the Yamaha, so depending on the speakers you run etc if you would get the most out of it - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201384-sony-strdn1060.aspx at £349 - although this one isn't available for shipping

We don't really have anything as ex demo or open box clearance at the minute but keep an eye out for open box lists going up on the forums

    Cheers
    Brian

    Mark,

thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you.

We don't have any OB RXV679 at the moment but its great value at the moment at just £329 / €479 - Have a look here:
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201510-rxv679.aspx

We do have one STRDN1060 open Box in 'as new' condition - it was out with a customer for 2 days before he decided to go the whole hog and purchase a delicious Cambridge Audio CXA80 - the best price I can do on the open box STRDN1060 is £329.95 / €469.99
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201384-sony-strdn1060.aspx

...However if I was you I would look at the YAMAHA RXA Avantage range - I know these are normally bonkers price but I have done a deal on the YAMAHA RXA550 which has just had a super review in What Hifi - its £499.95 and sounds and looks great at that - the interesting bit is that I'm doing an Euro for Pound special on it and its currently just €499.99 - Have a look here:

    http://europe.yamaha.com/en/products/audio-visual/av-receivers-amps/aventage-series/rx-a550_g/

Its really a no brainer ( next best price I can see in Ireland is €630!) - keep us posted if we can assist in any way,
