Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I've been made aware that many of these harnesses for sale are not even tested.

My dog is about 30 kilos and she will be travelling in a car soon....can anyone recommend a product?

    Thanks.

I am also very interested in the replies to that question. There were recently lots of talks about most car harness being either ineffective or dangerous. My dog is slightly heavier than the OP's and when he is not looking through the side windows, he likes looking thought the windscreen between the driver's and the passenger's seat (from the back seat of course). So even if we don't have an accident but only brake briskly, with a useless harness, he could easily become a deadly projectile.

What kind of setup do you have OP? Any of the safety videos I've seen are all crash test dummy dogs sitting on the back seat and I think there was like one harness out of the lot of them that didn't rip to bits and throw the dog around! I have the car guard behind the front seats now and the seats down when the dogs are in the back of my jeep so have them tethered with straps/bungees and either with their regular harness or the car harnesses - I have a Clix and Bergan one.
