Quote for amp/speakers please.

Hi there. Dipping back into hi-fi for the first time since I bought my current system in the original Richer Sounds Dublin in 1993! (Marantz CD52 Mk.2/Rotel 930 AX/Mission 760i). All still going but tiring a little....particularly the speakers.

I'm keeping the CD player for the moment and my budget for amp/speakers is €700 or so. I'm looking at the Cambridge Audio SX80 speakers. What amp(s) would you recommend with them?

If you can recommend any other amp/speaker combinations in that price range, I'd like to hear.

I'll be paying by card in Euro and looking for delivery included.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll have a look at those suggestions.

If I was to go a bit more on speakers (say replace the amp later), what would your recommendations be? I listen to all sorts, but mainly 60's/70's rock. But good singer/songwriters feature too (John Martyn, Beth Orton, Nick Drake etc.)
