Not sure what the score will be but Liverpool to have at least 4 players with exploding hamstrings.

this is genuinely all about Arsenal.

if they match the Liverpool press, and trust their men out wide, they'll win.

if Wenger is naive, and just tries to tip-tap his way through the centre, i think he'll be playing into Klopp's hands.

my prediction is that he'll actually be naive, and Liverpool will win 2-1. And I'm never optimistic.

Ya think? Liverpool are blunt as **** with the ball, should let them have it and counter with Ramsey/Ozil/Walcott.

2-0 for Arsenal, Ozil direct from corners.

So why did you say Liverpool to win 2-0 ? :pac:

Because I was hoping nobody would notice my mistake :p

0-3 Arsenal, don't see us getting anything out of the game given our injuries and form.

Fancy Liverpool to turn it on tonight. Also interesting to see the two best managers in the league go head to head. Liverpool to lead but Arsenal to equalise for a draw as the final result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,985 ✭✭✭mikeym

    It could go either way.

I expect to see loads of goals like in previous meetings at Anfield.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

4-3, Caulker to score three, none of them past Cech.

Benteke, Firmino, Clyne and Ibe to score the rest.

Can't see anything other than an Arsenal win. With our inconsistent form and injury list it's hard to imagine anything else :(

Most if not all of the Liverpool players that will play tonight havent had a game in 8 days. I'd expect Liverpool to play at a high tempo and get a draw.

Substitute Liverpool for Arsenal and that would still apply.

    would it though?
Arsenal have 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in their last 10 games (all competitions)

    thats pretty consistent.

Liverpools pressing game will work well tonight against arsenal.

So far a lot of teams have just bypassed that by launching the ball up top.

    Arsenal wont do that.

As strong as could be hoped for though, but a few there just returning from injury (even if only a couple of weeks) so hopefully they don't breakdown again.

Except one team is top of the form table and the other is 13th

Ward on the bench, Bogdan dropped unsurprisingly.

    Not a bad Liverpool team.

    Thought they had more injuries.

Ramflam in the middle for arsenal. As expected. Flaminis lack of discipline is always a worry

    Nil all.

The team isn't nearly as weak as I thought it'd be. Firmino and Ibe need to give their all. Expect the usual spinning around from Lallana.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

If arsenal dont win this it says a lot about their manager and mentality.

This is absolutely what he should do.

But as City and Chelsea found out, if you play into our hands, we can fúck you.

Would take a draw now, think Arsenal will win with a good bit to spare.

No, where the team finishes at the end of a season will show that, not a one off good or poor performance

Caulker not starting is a big loss.......

Looking at the teams Arsenal are probably worse off for injuries.

We've seen what Liverpool can do this season when they're in the mood. They will surely be up for it tonight. As an Arsenal fan I am a little nervous

Remains to be seen how it pans out. I'll be happy with a slow/steady start, yous can't do much against organisation.

Going to anfield and winning well will show the league they are not bottlers.

Bottlers is harsh but Arsenal have often found themselves in good positions at this time of the year only to fall back. Its about time they won the league or at least went close.
