Chael Sonnen interviewed Jon Jones' manager Malki Kawa on his podcast, it's an interesting listen.

Chad Mendes banned for two years, popped for a type of growth hormone.

    You're right on that one.

    Ill just leave these then:
“I have a great relationship with the blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks,”
“I have black guys counting my money. … I hate it,”
“Who the f knows? I mean, really, who knows how much the Japs will pay for Manhattan property these days?”

And the retweets from white supremacist groups as well.

    Have a good day. :)

This article went up literally only about 5 minutes ago but I saw something about a 2 year suspension this morning about 9 am so it must have happened yesterday I reckon.

Yup, Luke Thomas tweeted out the USADA statement.

GHRP-6 isn't a growth hormone, and it's pretty useless for athletes without being stacked with other substances.

Ah I wasn't completely listening to Luke Thomas when he was talking about it, just heard growth hormone being talked about.

2 years out at this stage of his career, that's pretty close to "that's all she wrote" I think.

As far as I know what he was caught for was a substance that multiplies the effects of growth hormones.

It allows a user to get the same advantages from tiny amounts of growth hormones as they would get from larger amounts. Not an expert and i'm not familiar with the appropriate lingo but I think this is the stuff he was caught for.

The fact he owned up and admitted to it made me think he might only get 18 months.

He owned up and admitted he used a creme but claimed he didn't know there was a banned substance was in it. Unfortunately ignorance doesn't mean you haven't committed an offence and can't be used as an excuse.

In fairness he's just owned it, put his hand up, admitted he ****ed up and accepted his punishment, he could have went looking for a supplement that has the substance in it but he just accepted that he ****ed up and took his licks.

More time for hunting and fishing and mountain biking, he won't care too much.

Missing a good chunk of the prime of his career. I hope the business he invested his McGregor money in is doing well otherwise he should take the Money out of Mendes.

His hunting expedition company does crazy business. Tours in the US, Canada and New Zealand that people pay tens of thousands to go on with him and professional guides. He also took Fabers advice and invested in a lot of property in Northern California, so he has a nice nest egg.

NOT political but is anyone else surprised DW considers Trump his "very good friend"?

Anyone remember the short lived Affliction FC? UFC banned fighters from wearing affliction clothing because of it and it seemed the UFC regarded it as a slap in the face if anyone else dared to run a MMA event. I think it was Trump who basically put up all the dough for them to run the promotion.

Dana white is someone who was lucky enough to have two friends who happened to be billionaire casino owners because he was a dodgy boxing promoter. A case of being in the right place at the right time. He's a talking head and largely a moron. His understanding of political realities is about as deep as his understanding of quantum physics. He's a useful idiot.

It's no coincidence that the UFC didn't really take off until Lorenzo took a more hands on approach to running the company.

Dana is the face of the UFC's ownership, but he's not the brains.

It's a non-event for me. Trump has the RP nomination, and he's had it locked up in all but name for weeks now. He is running, end of. All staunch republicans have had to accept that and now they put on a brave face and endorse him, regardless of what they think of him. They are backing republican party, not for Trump. It's all a play for the swing voters now.

Just on this one. I knew nothing about GHRP-6 before you mentioned it in the other thread. I'm assuming that one of the other substances it needs to be stacked with was growth hormone, to make it effective. And that it's a benefits as precursor to growth hormone only when injected, not the creme.

How do we know that neither of these situations apply to Chad's case? I'd have assumed that the tests just return the presence of GHRP-6 and not how he administered it. He could of been stacking it either.

Not saying he was or he wasn't I've no details at all. And maybe the tests prove something I'm unaware of.
But if I was sipping a GHRP-6/Growth Hormone cocktail, and got cause for GHRP-6. I'd roll out the creme excuse.

Something I noticed that might be a good look for some of the lads here.

If you're on Three and using a pay as you go SIM you can use your €20 credit to pay for fightpass in the google play store. Good way to get fightpass for basically free. You can use the same account to log in on your console, laptop or smart TV.

Sweet, didn't know it was in the Play store. Usually use my credit for Xbox/PSN vouchers but this is another good option now

Works for buying PPV events too

There's a UFC app and you can buy fightpass through your google account there.

There's a video of Dana speaking about Donald Trump, he talks about how when they were starting off they were having trouble finding venues that would allow them to put on events & how Trump allowed them to use his Casino place in Atlantic City. I'll have a look & see if I can find it again.

His support of Donald Trump/RP might not be a political thing but a personal thing.

Chael Sonnen added back to the USADA testing pool. Coincidentally, that'd just about make him available for the New York card in November.....

I'm delighted. Wonder what he's weighing now.
