    Sour grapes by rory ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,851 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

I'm not surprised mofo's and all that but it was legal levels at the time, Rory shouldn't be bringing it up now. Saying that, Robbie definitely decreased Rory's career time with that fight and if roids helped, he has a right to be pissed.

Rory's nose is likely to cause him problems in sparring and fighting in the future. Said he broke it multiple times since the fight. If this is as the result of Robbie juicing then he's dead right.

In fairness if he has a dodgy nose and he is breaking it a few times in training then that's his own fault and the fault of his team

Lawler broke his face in fairness. Like condit saying he was stunned by a shot by maia on the ground xould be due to taking too many punches, same would apply to rorys nose

How is Robbie ruining his nose the fault of him and his team?

If he is breaking it repeatedly in training then there is a problem, in the same way that many fighters speak about training more intelligently and taking head shots out of training.

Yeah but they have to spar and you can't take it easy because his nose breaks easy, his opponent won't. It'll be a bullseye for anyone he fights in the future too.

    Wow. Huge if true.

Is the implication that there was a cover up?
The results were public at the time. There was no fail in that test, technically.
It might have been a fail now, but I can't find anything on the WADA LH limit.

The T/E ratio is fine. His T levels aren't elevated either. It's only the luteinizing hormone.

50 stg - 150stg with lots of options in between at a guess, simular to London prices with not many 50 quid tickets available.

Great thread on twitter between Artem, Kennedy and Rosa. Well worth the read. Ar-Tem is a gas man!

Cowboy on the JRE basically said he is on the New York card he couldn't disclose the fight but alluded that it would be strange as knows personally and is his girlfriend's favourite fighter ever (Joe corrected him and said well second favourite fighter obviously :) )

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

    Lawler maybe?
Lawler is supposedly looking for a quick fight after his last one and Cowboy tweeted his usual 'I know a guy' in response during the week. I'd like to see it.

Are we gonna get any announcement on Belfast card soon? Thinking of skipping 204 for that if gunni and\or Duffy are on it rather then being stuck with a bunch of pissed and coked up mancs

Not confirmed but at worst kept secret sort of job stage.

I would doubt that even 10% would be locals. There will be people from all over Europe coming in for this.

Joe Silva is leaving, don't know if he resigned or is fired or what. Big shock.

    Source?

    Source?

Lots of credible sources confirming on twitter.

    Terrible news IMO.

We're gonna have Hollywood agents doing the matchups next.

There was a vid of Ari Emanuel and Joe Silva at one of the weigh ins and it looked like Joe Silva was being berated by Ari.

Shelby probably becomes head match maker and they bring in someone new to help him. The fighters are probably glad he's gone, from all the stories or any hints fighters have given about Joe Silva it's that he's an angry little man.

  • Registered Users Posts: 151 ✭✭FollowMyWay

Joe Silva isn't a massive loss, his match making hasn't been anything special and most matches pick themselves.

You're right with regards the title fights and guys near the top

But the undercard where you're often building up new guys or trying to put 2 guys together who should have a good fight, matching people up like that takes a bit of experience to do
