I see brad pickett says he wants to retire. Wants his last fight to be on the london card in march. I wouldnt mind seeing him and seery again for their retirement fights even if it had to be at catch weight.

Token bans, there was no chance of Yoel or Alves fighting within the ban.
Kelvin maybe, but he deserves more than 6 months

Absolutely, the fact that Kelvin is fighting next month reinofrces that.

2nd time this year DC has pulled out of a title defence this year alone, I know theres more cards but I dont remember injuries this much 2 or 3 years ago.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,736 ✭✭✭ASOT

2014 was dubbed year of the injury, was a good few last year and this year too. Gutted as I have tickets for the card but still looking forward to Holloway/Pettis, Cub/Doo Hoo Choi, Vannatta/Makdessi and Cerrone/Brown. Can't wait to see Matt Brown live one of my favourite fighters.

And that goes to show you the state of that division ATM.

LHW was always terribly thin, should extend it to like 225lbs.

Cain will get injured before 207 to complete the AKA Big 3 pull outs. They seriously need to look at themselves as a camp.

That would leave 40lb between middle and lhw and that's just too much of a difference I think, plus who'd drop from HW which is just as bad for injuries to pad out the lhw ranks as most HW's weigh in at 240+

And it's why you don't book Conor v Khabib as he'd also pull out in no time

Whilst he's the best LW in the world his injury profile shows he's unable to stay clear of injuries

Awkward when the colour commentator hasn't a clue what's going on.

Gabi Garcia's next RIZIN opponent is Shinobu Kandori, 52 years old, 5'7", 165lbs, former pro wrestler, 4-1 MMA record, hasn't fought in 16 years.
    Rizin, WTF?

She actually looks like an old woman. The face off was depressing. I like crazy Japanese MMA fights as much as the next guy but Gabi may actually kill her.

Maybe not. She won a judo medal in '84
