    Search the address? You might find some cached pages with details on the likes of myhome or daft.

    Narrow your results by putting quotation marks around it, eg "2 main street, somewheresville"

    We have a problem with a damaged fence...at the end of the day it is his/her fence...

    Yes, you can write to the prob requesting the landlords contact details. I've done this recently. There's a form you download, fill it in and post it off.

    They will only pass on a postal address though, not a phone number.

    And all of that is assuming that the tenancy is registered.
