Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As far as insults go, it's a bit **** to be honest and the only time I've heard it is from the sort of annoying runt that thinks he's really "big" dishing out insults whilst hiding behind his big mate.

I assumed from the thread title that this was about a new campaign to label tanning "racial appropriation" or something like that :pac:

Was it a generational thing? I've never called someone a tan, or heard of anyone being called a tan.

    I believe so yeah.

I'm 31. Anyone who has used that phrase has been around my age now that I think about it.

Never heard it from someone older or younger by +- 5 years.

I can't get my head around people that get offended by words

I don't really think anyone would be that offended since it's such a stupid thing to say. If I heard it, I'd just think the person who said it was a complete arsebandit.

You would have been a few years behind me in school. Strange that I never heard it.
