Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The worst United side in decades and we can't even beat them at home. It's shocking stuff.

How many shots do they have to have on target before deserving of a goal?

I would say at least close to as many as your opponent, to say you deserved the win.

Well you are 100% wrong. It was never deserved. 80 minutes for a shot on target. We haven't been great today but we have been by far the better team.

My opinion. We deserve to be winning.

    "you nearly won the league"

    That's really mean.

You obviously haven't watched a lot of our attacking play with Benteke on the pitch. If any of our other strikers were fit they would have started,

He has been a passenger but at least he knows where the goal is. Lallana has been a passenger since he signed but for some reason qualifies as a flair player who "fits our syle" whatever the hell that means, and features regularly.

That first XI was asking for trouble

Depay, you clown, into the corner!

    Quite a few handballs

Liverpool have offered nothing since they conceded. Chance here from the set piece. Silly handball by Mata.

    What was that from Rooney.

Not making it easy again as per usual

Ha, how many goals in the history of football would be undeserved if that criteria applied? Perhaps you should stick to the cycling.

United clearly stepped up in the second half

Superb victory. The pressure must be on Kloop now. I really like the guy but a pretty poor start gmbeing honest.

    Superb result.

I don't think he's the best in England though let alone the world

Thank you, he got man of the match, and United the win.

Van Gaal is simply a better manager than Klopp

When United are finished with him you lot can have him, maybe he can get that awful squad back into the Europa league places

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

    Klassy Klopp.

Massive massive win. Surely the result that should see is kick on and make sure of getting in top 4

As a united fan I think that's a bit of a sh*t comment...Liverpool are literally only missing a top class striker

    Nope.

1-0. Full time. We were better, far superior in second half.

We weren't great but Liverpool were pretty awful throughout. How they left 4 on Fellaini and 0 on Rooney.

****ing brilliant, never gets old beating that lot :D.

As your a united fan I'm not suprised by this opinion. Klopp is not remotely under pressure inheriting a dog ****e team from Rodger and a team ruined by injury .

The first comment from the panel sums it up" how United won that I do not know "

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Christ our results at anfield this season have been shocking

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,046 ✭✭✭Berserker

Well, that was underwhelming. Draw would have a fair result but Liverpool managed to lose it by some miracle. Two very poor teams.

Haha that's an even bigger load of shîte than the whole "we deserve to lead" talk. It's his first season and he hasn't been able to sign anyone yet because he's not being given funds in January.

    Utter delusion.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Ah balls to that. It at least it keeps Van Gaal in the job, but poor consolation.

We deserved more from the game, but De Gea made the crucial saves when it came down to it. De Gea MOTM.

    #WinningInWhite.

Something United on twitter have been promoting all week.

Nearly worth keeping LVG just for beating Liverpool every time :)

Ah he was left a load of rubbish, Firmino, Benteke and Coutinho. We'll see what he does in the Summer.

Van Gaal make it 4 out of 4 v Liverpool.

If only we could play them every week.

United were awful. Says a lot about the PL that that United team is contending for 4th.

Important win to get distance between Utd and Liverpool, very lucky tho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Must be particularly grating for Liverpool fans to see Fellaini absolutely dominate them in every aspect.

    Net transfer spend.
    Net deserving to win ratio.

Two tables Liverpool should get to the top of.
