    Hi All

I am in the process of buying a house at the moment and looking for a recommendation of a decent solicitor.

I have heard a lot of solicitors that used to do property have pulled out so many would be inexperienced in conveyancing.

Would anyone know a solicitor that has a bit of experience behind them so the sale can go through swiftly.

    Thanks :)

Are prices more or less the same between solicitors.

Has anyone a ball ballpark of what is the professional fee they charge these days?

Dont be paying more than basic 1000 + vat. You'll have the usual fees (stamp duty etc) to pay on top of that. One Solicitor tried to charge me 1% of purchase price. Celtic tiger long gone..... ðŸ˜
