Shame it's the week before Rotterdam, would have ran it otherwise. Great race.

Signed up myself...always a great race with a strong field. Passing through the village 3 times is also great from a spectator point of view

I'm all over this. I haven't done it before, although I do have the t-shirt from 2015 - too big for my O60 category mother :)

    Planning on it!

    Im in...

Probably 4 years since I ran this last, looking forward to it again.

This, with the DHAA Dunboyne 5miler and the Dunshaughlin 10K are 3 great club races to look forward to.

this is the best part, yes you go through the village 3 times but its a not a looped route, the cheering crowds are worth the trip alone :)

A short race with a big reputation
The 47th EirGrid Dunboyne 4 Mile Road Race & Fun Run, in partnership with Athletics Ireland, takes place on Sunday 3rd April 2016 at 3pm. It is a landmark event on the Irish road racing calendar, attracting an entry over one thousand in 2015. The course offers great potential for athletes to target a fast time, gives first time participants a great introduction to the 4 mile distance, and also allows supporters to provide plenty of encouragement along the way. At 4 miles, this is also an ideal event for anyone new to fitness, walking or running, as the emphasis is on a fun day out in a friendly and safe environment.

Last chance now, why not get out and support a great club!!!

So just turn up and register by around 2 for the senior race and you'll have the perfect wAy to burn off those Saturday night carbs you've been downing , it's very flat and fast. Wind not going to be a factor like last years was. Juvenile races too beforehand.

Yep a good race. Got a pb by 25 secs, timings on the site are off a bit for me.

Mine's absolutely spot on...it wasn't a chip start so if you started back a bit, your time will be a bit slower in the results compared to your watch

well done everyone, lots of pb celebrations today I hope, the rain held off and it was a beautiful day for a run :)

The clock said 26:51 when I went under it, but web said 26:57.

It's not important or a criticism.

    Great race by dunboyne again
