    Currently running:

    Corsair 1x4GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL11 (CMX4GX3M1A1600C11)
    Timing: 11-11-11-30
    Type: DDR3
    Format: DIMM
    Pin Out: 240 Pin
    Voltage: 1.50V
    Data Integrity Check: Non-ECC

I found it for sale in CeX for €2 so I chanced it. I know it's server ram.

    Hynix 1x4GB DDR3 1333MHz ECC CL9 (HMT351R7BFR8A-H9)
    Timing: Not sure, but CL9
    Type: DDR3
    Format: DIMM
    Pin Out: 240 Pin
    Voltage: 1.35v
    Data Integrity Check: ECC Registered

Is there any way to make the two of these work together? Using an ASUS H81M-C motherboard.

I should have mentioned that I have used both successfully in the pc individually (and together, though it only recognises the hynix ram).

One has error correction, different latency, different voltages, even different clock speed...

if they did work together it'd be a little bit of magic.
