Just had the most productive evening ever!

I ended up listening to Podcasts which is something I almost never do. Ended up listening to 3 podcasts - a total of about 6 hours - following interviews of a guy called Jocko Willink. Quite enjoying him - so the boards outage did that.

So now I am listening to Jocko Willink's own Podcasts now. Not nearly as good as the interviews though so I may give up. But he talks a lot of the talk I do on a few personal issues so nice to hear him.

So yea that was my boards.ie outage time well spent

Doesn't help that the site goes down every five minutes either.

^ So far I have not had that issue! It is just slow.

Only other issue I have is if I submit (once) a post - it often posts two or three times. Not sure why that might be.

I keep inadvertently double-posting, and when I hit the edit button to delete one it takes a blue age to load. Also I can't log in on my work laptop, I can only use my personal one where I wasn't logged out.

These are all annoyances I blame on the Mods. I know it's not your fault, but I'm blaming you anyway. You deserve it, somehow.

So I'm annoyed.

I posted, it showed up twice, I deleted one. Now it's not there at all.

I give up.

This'll show up twice, I'm sure.

The downtime here presented the opportunity to create a reddit account finally. I've got on board with their layout over there. Will be a lot less time here and more time there from now on. The moderation is ridiculous here. And I rarely post. Just read.

Finally got logged back on. Woo hoo!

Now you may think this is just centre-of-the-worldism on my part, but I'm 99% sure this whole thing was about me.

I didn't win the lotto (nothing to do with their tech issues in fairness, I had no intention of playing). Traffic was diverted on the way to work this morning causing everyone but me to be late (I could have just stayed in bed an extra hour and gotten away with it). And when they got here we immediately had a two-hour power cut (Again, that's valuable lying in bed time that went to waste).

Clearly I'm cursed. Anybody know a good exorcist/shaman/voodoo priestess?

True. Hardly any new threads starting today either. I went to start one myself to get something going but could not think of a single thing interesting to talk about I need inspiration on what thread I could start that would be interesting.

Then again anyone with such inspiration - would probably just start one themselves.
