Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Go on Naismith, knew he was nailed on to score today if he started, pity it wasn't the first goal so my bet would pay out!

Why doesn't Mignolet use his legs in that position? De Gea kicks that away every time.

Awful to be beaten from there from the keeper.

    what an absolute shambles

    Terrible keeping

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭fyfe79

Can we please dispense with the notion that Mingolet is a good shot stopper? 3 goals from 3 shots in the last 2 games.

    Good signing for Norwich

IMO Everton should have held on to him

Norwich will concede at least once more here. A shambles at the back.

Agree, he's a good squad player for us and pops up with goals now and again.

Told all my mates to back him AT today :pac:

    Delighted for him

The teams in the relegation battle will want to play liverpool every week. No hunger, no drive, going through the motions.

Making Mbokani look like a superstar.

Absolutely nobody in the box at the end there, this isn't 5 a side.

    Quarryman popped in yet? :D

A typical shambles at the back, no one is taking responsibility, no boot it out mentality, the middle is a mirage today, Milner adds sod all, only Ibe and Firmino are tying to make things happen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 311 ✭✭TrueIt

    You've watched him lately,yeah?

looks like you are correct, he has more of a right to start over others.

6 of the last 8 shots on target against us have gone in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

I want Norwich to stay up given they have Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolihan, give our players a calm route as we approach the Euros.

Will take Klopp at least the summer transfer window before he can be judged. A lot of players are not good enough for Liverpool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,334 ✭✭✭Ardent

Half that Liverpool team needs to be shipped out in the summer. Mid table team is what they are.

And Rodgers still doesn't bring in a defensive coach.

It feels like we have been a shambles at the back for about 4 years now. Needs to get sorted in the summer as a priority.

The only one of the back 5 I'd keep is Moreno in case our new LB gets injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Wouldn't mind getting Flanagan on at left back, push Moreno forward. Vulnerable on that side and maybe he'll bring some fight to the team.

Sahko trying to clear for the first goal was like a place kicker at the rugby world cup

How much more can be spent until this excuse stops being used?

And why are Liverpool buying another striker when there already overloaded

Benteke should be playing, his poor form is down to the fact none of the midfielders are providing him any decent service but I feel hes been scapegoated for Liverpools real issues which lie in midfield and defense

Klopp doesn't know how to get the best out of him and its poor player management IMO

That's just nonsense. Clyne has been very good all season, he's having an off day today. Toure is a squad player retiring at the end of the year.

Ming needs to be shot. I think if you have a strong commanding keeper in there he would give a lot of confidence to the back four and once all the injuries pass we need to have a consistent run of games of the same four guys for a back four to build a partnership.

We've had to much chopping and changing back there all season.

Bent eke won two games for us and has been benched almost since then. We need goals.

Liverpool should try and get Butland this window.

Player has been sh1te and it's the manager's fault.
It's been pretty clear since Klopp's arrival that he doesn't really rate him but Benteke has had chances and has not taken them. His FA Cup games also did not do much to make him change his mind either.

Were not overloaded, we've one for striker. Origi and Ings are injured and Sturridge is dead I think.

If your referring to the Brazilian guy Texeria he's an attacking mid and you'd assume he's going to take Adam Lamas spot in the team.

Edit: We all knew Benteke is a streaky player. Could go months without a goal and he's obviously on one of those now.

I've never seen someone fall over as much as Milner.
