Just drove through Hampton Wood in Finglas and there was a large crowd of marauding teenagers running around like crazy, letting off fire extinguishers, hitting cars and banging on house windows, carrying cans and throwing stuff. There must have been more than fifty of them - saw the Gardai, fire and ambulance onsite as well.

Any idea what was going on? Too late for exam results!

Parents not taking responsibility for what their teenagers are doing when they're not at home.

the general north Finglas area (Hampton, Mayeston, Lanesboro, Charlestown) is all only built within the last twelve years or so. Gangs of marauding teenagers will be happening for a long time up there. The result of large scale development within a relatively compact area is the demograph all being people starting families and lots of lots of children the same age.
The population in them areas is very transient which means there is not a lot of community spirit.
