Roundwood, Co Wicklow - New house build advise

    Hi All,

    Looking for some options for building type in Roundwood, Co.Wicklow. I have been look at a traditional house build with a price of around €80 + vat per Sqm, I was just looking at to potential of building a house using the timber frame construction method. My question is has

    1. Anyone build a timber framed house in the Roundwood area
    2. Who did you use, AmbiHouse , Wolohan etc...
    3. Cost
    4. Any issue during or after build
    5. Size of house built
    6. Anything I should look out for

    If anyone has any information at all on the subject feel free to drop a line,

    I'm sure you're looking at €80 per square foot. The days of €80 per square foot are long gone also. With the regs and minimum rating of A3 to be achieved I think people are looking at about €130-€150 per square foot for a builders finish.
