Bands who legitimately never had a bad album

Come on, St Anger, Load and Reload are weak albums undisputedly.

I suppose my definition of bad here is one casual fans would skip, if you're a big fan of a band you already really like most of their output. It doesn't have to be horrific, like a bad Lou Reed album, just significantly worse than their usual standard

Although having relistened to it, I couldn't call Bleach a bad album

Radiohead have released loads of albums in wildly differing styles of music and I don't think any of them are bad albums. Some people don't like Pablo Honey because it's so different from the later work but for what it was, a indy guitar sound it had some great tracks

Creep is one of the greatest songs ever.

I can't think of a bad Beck album. Certainly some I like more than others, but no bad ones. Be interested to hear the opinions of others.
Agree with Arctic Monkeys post earlier, even the weaker ones are very solid.
    Yeah Yeah Yeahs also.

"Guero" is weak, like a set of rejected songs from "Odelay". "The Information" is patchy too.

    Golden Feelings
A Western Harvest Field by Moonlight
    Stereopathetic Soulmanure
    Midnight Vultures

    There's four albums.

Some good points there. I did ask! I like The Information for what it's worth.

    Ah, Guero is great!

It's great, but I probably wouldn't have it in my top 40 Radiohead songs.

    There's four albums.
Golden Feelings - Supergolden Black Sunchild

A Western Harvest Field by Moonlight - Totally Confused

Stereopathetic Soulmanure - Rowboat (gets the Johnny Cash seal of approval)

    Midnight Vultures - Debra

    Portishead

They only had like three studio albums. Stopped whilst on a high.

Nice. Personally not a fan of the Ramones albums after Road to Ruin. Brain Drain in particular is pretty crummy.

Super Furry Animals - I used to think LoveKraft was just an okay album but it's grown on me a fair bit over time. Very solid band.

LoveKraft is their weakest, but its still pretty good. Gruff Rhys's solo albums are all excellent as well.

Weezer are utterly dire from Make Believe onwards, but I still think The Green Album and Maladroit are fairly good. Though it's sad, they've gone from one of my favourite bands to one I totally hate and feel embarrassed for.

The quality dropped after the green album definitely, very hitty missy, but they certainly weren't 'bad', just not at the same epic levels as previous albums,I'd put their latest album up there with their best.
    Da Vinci is some tune

    2 albums actually.

There's no denying they're riff stealing. I do like Wire, but I think connection is a better song than three girl rumba.
