I have long fine hair. never had a problem with it until recent move to an area with very hard water (the new kettle has chunks of white floating in it after a month, its that bad!).

Its making my hair lank and dull and it looks greasy the day after I wash it

I normally use the herbal essences 0% naked volume shampoo. I find it doesn't lather up as well with this water - nothing does!

Anyway, any suggestions for shampoo that would work better in hard water areas? I don't mind spending a bit if it works. I cant use pantene / elvive or any of those as they all make my hair lank and greasy. So anything else that might help!

I adore Redken Cleansing Cream as a clarifying shampoo. I don't use it everyday, maybe every few weeks, but it always makes my hair look great, not stripped like most clarifying shampoos make it feel. And the orange smell reminds me of super-splits!

    Where can you buy it?

It may be a good idea to see how much a water filter for the shower would cost?
