Eir will not free line after cancellation

    After cancelling Eir broadband after 1 day, I was told they would free up my line so I can avail of another provider.  This was 2 weeks ago, and whenever I have rang they say they somone has made a listake and they have not done it.  How long do I have to wait so I can use another provider???
