He certainly didn't play well in that game. He was poor and has been since his return from injury. He was great in that half tho and to say otherwise is just being biased.

Also what has you being a liverpool fan got to do with your opinion of him? Do you think it makes you right? I'm a liverpool fan too and I think he's our best cb when fully fit and its not even close.

Kind of where this forum is at not, if you disagree you get jumped on.

Fact is he is a good defender most of the time, but far too often he completely loses concentration and composure and it costs goals. All the passes & headers in the world can't change that.

Still, cling to the illusion if it gives you some comfort. IDGAF.

No but saying he didn't play superbly in that second half is someone with a biased opinion. Its ok to disagree its not ok to just ignore whats in front of your eyes. What illusion am I clinging too? He's our best cb by a mile... there's no real competition as the rest are AWFUL.
