You can buy them in the festival on the day and whatever's left over will be available on the door that night

You can buy tickets online before hand, or at the festival itself as far as I know. Tickets will be available on the door if they haven't sold out!

Heading on the Friday. Finishing at 10 45 is ridiculous, far too early.

Yeah, it just feels very early as I'll be coming from work to the Festival on Friday.

It is quite early, I suppose that's why they have the after parties in various nightclubs with some of the artists from FF performing!

Is this limited to pints of Becks and Bulmers?

Does there be Bacardi tents and the likes?
I was here before but it was a complete washout. Expected a different atmosphere this weekend.

I'd say it will be all the pis$y CandC brands:
Bulmers; Clonmel 1650; Corona; Roundstone; Heverlee; Becks

There was Forbidden Spirits cocktail bar last year. Presume it will be there again this weekend.

Any chance of smuggling in a sneaky hip flask or would they pat everywhere?

They're fairly keen on forcing people to buy drinks at the bars as the main sponsor is Bulmers. Their searches are focused on classic drink smuggling techniques so i'd say they'll be looking for hip flasks.

    I'd say you've a 1 in 5 chance.

Depends where you hide it and how big it is. I'd say a small one in your sock or down the front of the jocks might be ok. In the hood sometimes works too especially if you have an innocent looking friend to do it

A hip flask down the jocks never fails

There's one bastard that works all the events in Kilmainham and he gives a serious pat down. I got stopped with a hip flask right down the front of my jocks one year and i had to bin it. He had no hesitation to touch me in my special place lol.

If your gonna sneak in booze, zip lock bags are the way to go.

I'm hoping this doesn't turn into another Swedish house Mafia mess,
The sunshine seems to have that effect on people

I have a feeling the crowd could be rough on Sunday, but I doubt there will be stabbings

Can you collect your box office tickets at ticketmaster in stephens green before the event by any chance?
Whos playing that could attract a "rough" crowd on Sunday? Underworld?

Mostly Underworld and Groove Armada, scobes like dance music in general.
As do I, but unfortunately dance music at a festival so easily accessible to Dublin will probably mean a high scummer attendance

The recent good weather will add to that, who doesn't like a session in the sun,
