No harm to Smalling but you really need to challenge for headers more than that once you commit to going to the ball, even if you realise you can't win the ball you have to recognise that as a centre half you've moved very far out of position.

He's had a shaky game actually, mostly brought on by expecting to be under more pressure than he is when the ball comes to him but he's panicked with two clearances he had no need to already.
