    Strictly speaking, probably not. They are most likely "legit" insofar as it will work and Microsoft won't flag it as counterfeit.

    However, it's unlikely that the licence agreement includes this kind of purchase - you either buy directly from Microsoft or another authorised seller. Some guy on a classified ads site reselling from an authorised seller probably is outside the licence terms.

    That's good to know. My only concern in the first place is that if I buy the key it will not be genuine.
