Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Stupid from Allen, needless foul.

How is that not a yellow card for Allen?

How is that not a yellow card for Reid? I thought things like that were automatic yellows these days?

    Definitely should have been.

Keeper flattens Joe Allen there nobody bats an eyelid.

Easy to see why Chris Coleman has built the Welsh side around Joe Allen.

How was that not a backpass there. Crazy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

That sad realisation that your team of kids and reserves play better football than your first team

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

That's a back pass, Mignolet should have just hit it.

    Lots of idiotic fouls now

Stewart has been excellent in the middle so far. His anticipation, awareness, passing, tackling and strength has been very impressive.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,987 ✭✭✭Kerrigooney

Clearly a back pass and Mignolet being an idiot for risking a catch. Lucky.

But surely Mingnolet should have thought the same and not picked it up?

You'd think. It's not like he was under any pressure.

Even Benteke's knockdowns have been brutal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,692 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

Benteke still needs to get going

He certainly does. Don't care where either but it'd be nice to recover some of his transfer fee

Benteke is a mystery wrapped in a conundrum

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Martin Atkinson is utterly terrible at his job.

    Hasn't a notion.

Will we ever create a chance again
Between last Tuesday and tonight we have created nothing
A bit like watching Utd lately

Brannagan nearly scored. I'd get Benteke off and play Ojo myself. Mind you I have noticed that yet again when he does point or beckon to say Brannagan he gets ignored! :pac:

I'm hoping Benteke is on here to let Ojo start against Leicester.

    Too far. Too far man.

Well if we make 10 changes, it doesn't really matter, does it?

    Could do without a replay.

Why not? More time for this team to play together and more practice for Mignolet.

Liverpool can take the lead here if they score the first.

    Show some strength Benteke!

You're more predictable than a Sturridge injury at this stage.

    Lots of shirt pulling there

Allen really should have done better with that. Woeful shot.

All the criticism of Liverpool but this is the 2nd team versus a strong West Ham 1st team, so not doing bad.

Benteke is so slow in moving his feet.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

    Nice shot Tex.

Not been a lot in it, but Liverpool have shaded it so far I think, which is good with the players out there. Might be time to bring on Ojo for Ibe perhaps for another chance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

I'm sick of players taking stupid long shots when we don't score 10 seconds into an attack. Show some patience.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,294 ✭✭✭✭citytillidie

At least Liverpool did not concede with the 1st shot on target in this game

Benteke, come on. It's not an easy chance but show some attacking instinct.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

    Good clearance from Benteke.

Mignolet doing fancy footwork, feeling brave.

Yeah would give sinclair a shot now too. Tekkers just doesn't look too interested.

Poor show from the West Ham fans who are moving into a bigger ground not even taking half the stand when you look at Exeter who took that whole stand

A career on BT Sport awaits you. Well; if Michael Owen and Robbie Savage can get a gig on there, anyone can!

Should probably have scored there Tex. Straight at the keeper.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,502 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Good job he didn't score that. Allen scoring a bicycle kick would've destroyed the site again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

This is the kind of game where Liverpool will break their bollocks to score a goal and them immediately concede and equaliser.
