No surprise that northern nationalists went for remain but I thought the unionist vote would be more evenly split seeing as the UUP advocated staying in (although as I mentioned before, Mike Nesbitt was practically AWOL and you got the sense the party were torn on the issue).

Reasonable turnout in Foyle and West Tyrone, but the so called nationalists in West Belfast couldn't make it to the polls, no doubt the customs huts won't be near them.

ah depeche mode are from basildon. i always thought they were a london band.anyways thats a huge leave margin. im surprised at the size of the leave vote though.

The Leave vote seems to be turning out in larger numbers which could really be the difference maker in the end, Remain needs some positive news turnout wise!

    Remaining now touching 3/5.

Salmond reckons almost every area in Scotland will vote remain. So if they get leave we are into another ball game here

Indications are Birmingham is leaning heavily for 'remain'.

The remainians will still take this comfortably enough.

    Hopefully.

Today Friday should have been an EU wide public holiday for Europeans to recover after this.

Remain still weakening in the betting, now 4/6.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,749 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

The EU could be about to fall apart.

Remain still weakening in the betting, now 4/6.

Its slightly strange considering the encouraging numbers for them so far.

    Edit:
Ha! read that wrong, yeah the Remain is sure to be weakening in the betting market given the encouraging numbers for the Leave vote thus far.

    FCUK, Remain now 3/4.

The margin has doubled in the last 5-10 mins.

    Leave 54% - Remain 46%

I'm still predicting those numbers will switch by the break of dawn.

Not much of a union if it cannot tolerate the departure of 1 member.

    Remain 4/5!

I wonder is the reported low turnout amongst pro-EU voters in Scotland attributable to people who are pro-Scottish independence.

After all, a Brexit result helps their cause, although they don't want to be seen to add to the Brexit numbers; so the best strategy would be to sit this one out, right?

Every Welsh district declared so far has gone 'Leave'.

    Leave is now slight favourite.

I don't think the constant betting odds updates are necessary are they?!

They are going to be shifting a lot for the next few hours, only 32 results are in out of 382.

What news is moving it. It's proving fairly unreliable in the last 24 hours

Odds have Leave as favourite now.

Wales looks to have voted Brexit, defying expectations.

Not much of a union if it cannot tolerate the departure of 1 member.

It needs something radical to stop others looking to leave.

USDvGBP getting ready for its 2nd drop on the waterfall, is 1.44 into 1.43.
We might see 1.40 in a few hours, then 1.38 after that.

The expression an hour ago sums it up...
