I expected it to be more linked to age than anything, but as far as I can see the results are in line with education levels in each constituency. At least in the parts of the country I'm most familiar with.
Education and wealth are well correlated.

They might find it tough negotiating entry to the EU given that Spain won't look sympathetically at it given their issues with Catalonia and the Basque area.

Not if they are independent and rUK has left.

Yes, but it's a 10% move, and may go down more before it rises - but although dramatic for one night - it is at the level of a "competitive devaluation" and not excessive. Sterling has been far too strong.

    You're just trolling now

Definitely, but there's a good few constituencies that aren't particularly wealthy (not poor either, mind you) but are highly educated and voted to remain.

I'm pretty sure one poster did claiming he'd wake to a Remain win with a 6% margin...

Has it been called yet by any outlets or can London votes still swing it?

And Britain and Ireland have a Common Travel Area. And nobody is advocating the end of that either. So there is no case for a hard border.

No, because Norway's non EU membership is not an anti -immigration stance like the Brexit case is. It's very different.
You are making this up. Nobody supports the return of a hard border, and there is no need for one. All major political parties in the UK (including UKIP) are pro-immigration - we just want to control it.

How can you control it with an open border???

Doubtful the Leave camp now has an 800k vote lead.

Sky predicting a 52/48 Leave vote.

    Sterling tanked 10%.

Ah Robert you are one of the good guys, but its more than the knuckle dragging yobs that have voted to leave.

Its a **** you to Corbyn and Cameron from so many areas in England.

Are they correct? I don't think so, yeah humiliating Cameron and the absolutely vile Osbourne is something that is so temping, but its not worth putting your economy in such a risk for that.

Sunderland which relies so much on Nissan, voted for leave, turkeys, Xmas etc..:(

Cameron will have to commit sepoku.

I always liked him for England but he ****ed up royally granting this referendum on such frivilous grounds.

It is too early to be certain, but I would expect some sort of reciprocal arrangement between the North and us in Ireland whereby people's immigration status is checked at the point of access to services (health, schools, benefits etc). I presume it would be tied in with the Common Travel Area. Nobody wants the return of a hard border and there is no need for one.
