moving phone socket

hi please see pic. I want to move this socket to room beside it so i can plug in Ethernet cable. can i just get a connector block suitable for telecoms and join cabling here following colour code and run cable to new room and rewire as socket is at the present time? its to supply a Vodafone router. Am i missing anything or…

yeah should be relatively straight forward, these are the kind of crimps (instead of a connector block) that we use in telecoms for joining wires http://www.ebay.ie/itm/2-WIRE-TELEPHONE-JELLY-CRIMPS-TELECOM-CONNECTOR-x-100-/260422198231?hash=item3ca25f63d7:g:EKgAAOSwQJhUhZXn , if you could get these they would be best to use.
