Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a french mastiff, I took out pet insurance 3 years ago with allianz. I told they she had epilepsy and was on meds for that. Understood they would not cover anything to do with epilespy, that was fine. She now has a bulging disc on her spine and needs an MRI to confirm this. The cost is 1,400. The insurance company is now saying they will not cover the cost as it is neurological and she is not covered for that. How is a bulging disc neurological. Any help in trying to fight this would be appreciated.

Have you spoken to the vet about it?
No experience in terms of pet insurance but I know I have in the past had to fight my health insurance company to get them to cover something that they claimed was pre-existing. I needed paperwork from my consultant to a lot of stamina to get it sorted!

a bulging disc would be considered neurological as bulging discs impinge on nerves but it obviously has nothing to do with epilepsy. Check the wording of your policy and make sure it says epilepsy is not covered and not neurological conditions
