Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pooe Artem is completely out of his depth. That was one of the worst displays i have ever seen, he really is God awful. I honestly started roaring laughing at how bad he was in the last two minutes of the 3rd round. It's frightening to think he's one of McGregors main training partners.

Amazing to think artem is conors sparring partner.

    So poor in technique.

Is artem looking at being cut?

Not immediately. He'll get at least one more fight.

To be fair he's more than just a photographer he was a good boxer by all accounts.

Yeah true, I was being facetious. It is a complete circus though.

Gall quite literally up against a photographer here. The UFC have no shame.

He's got his UFC credentials too. Must be a first at this level/ever?

I think Artem might get one more fight to prove himself but that was very poor. He is very limited and when hes not landing big hits there is no other game plan to turn to.

Artem is not ufc quality. He seems like a really good guy and I wish him the best but let's face it, the only reason he's in the ufc is because of Conor.

Ah stop. He was extremely tired after putting everything into every single punch looking for the KO for 15 mins. Cut him some slack.

Hearing buffer announce an 0-0 record is ridiculous.

So is Punk actually in the crowd? Haven't seen him although I've been watching on and off so far.

The fact that he will stand and throw down means Dana will love him regardless of his actual ability, that combined with his friend having leverage will mean Artem will be fighting mediocre preliminary fights for a while yet.

Jackson had no right to be in the octagon. What a joke.

    Artem should fight Jackson next.

Was expecting someone to come in with a mask and start a fight like Bonner v Tito, it's beyond cringey.

The RNC wasn't even sunk! It was on Jackson's chin, that's sage Northcutt level early tapping right there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Expect it to be replayed over and over again when they switch over to televised prelims.

Punk doesn't sound confident at all there when talking about fighting, still don't think he'll get in there personally.

Nah, it was on his chin to start but he got it well in there alright in fairness.

It was horrible to see Joe Silva tell Punk to put his fists up for a faceoff 'Hey Phil, in the UFC you put your fists up...look just like this.....Phil.....Mr. Punk???'

I'm being overly critical maybe, but it looked like Jackson just gave up.

All it needed was A Go To Sleep in the middle of the octagon. :D

Yupp, I really don't see him ever making his debut. I don't like this Gall fella at all. no win situation for me.

I think he just didn't have the basic knowledge to even do anything bout it to be honest.

Yep in firmness to punk he called it he was to busy worrying about the hook and left his neck out, what did they expect though it's basically the same as toney coming in Jackson had a punchers chance but it was game over once it went to the ground.

UFC can still save face and have the farce fight at 199 and not 200.

I don't mind Gall but I hate that Dana and the UFC are shoving these random fighters down our throat just because they featured on his show.

I'm all for new talent coming into the UFC but let them build themselves up instead of proclaiming these guys as the second coming. It's ridiculous.

I like the idea of Looking For A Fight. I think it's a great way of spotting talent but trying to elevate them to super stardom when they're only in the door is just crazy.

I think Gall comes across well. Brash, confident. Although he's probably been given the two worst UFC fighters since it moved away from the crazy era.

I'd actually like to see him win too. Not really to see the rage on the forum, but moreso because he seems like a nice enough guy who just wants to give something he likes a shot.

He's in way too deep for sure, but in a way it's not his fault that the UFC offered him (presumably) decent money, a platform that any of us would love to take, and subsequently have made a complete and utter bollocks of handling it.

Besides, I have an irrational hatred for Gall already. :pac:

Did Punk ever do that trial weight cut he was blowing on about a few months ago?

He didn't know if he was going to be a WW or a MW, and he's fighting at WW so I'd assume they did a weight cut trial
