iphone portable battery pack question ?

so i bought one of these on ebay as im going to be out and about quite a bit and will have no access to a wall charger , my question is whats the difference between the 1A and 2.1A output points ? does it matter which one i plug my iphone into ?

2.1 will charge an iPhone faster. It's is equivalent to an iPad charger.
