All traffic landed at Cork, IRVR's in excess of 2000m,

BE635 (BE2NB) BHX-NOC (Showing as Coventry for some reason) about to enter the hold at Knock AT 8,000ft, will be able to hold for an hour and 45mins, but contacting company to find out intentions. RVR's 250m, 275m, 325m, no trend of increase.

Showing as BE2NB and no flightpath of FR24 thanks to yet another widespread error on the site.

Update: Flybe ops have said that the 1st diversion point will be Shannon if needs be, and that they will hold until 16:30 and call the company back then if there is no improvement.

    Fly be going to Dublin

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,188 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

Flybe company back onto ATC, change of plan, they want the aircraft to divert to Dublin instead, and to either make an approach or divert now.

Update: Diverting to Dublin, crew asked ATC what the plan was for the passengers so that they could keep them informed, buses will be arranged in Dublin. Good to have crew who like to keep the passengers updated.

Is this due to the fog ? Seems odd they didn't try

According to ATC, the forecast of fog is to last all the way until tomorrow morning.

The TAF states TEMPO 300m until 10am tomorrow, but the VIS has been consistently below that for the past few hours.

Diverting to Shannon, that was a short hold!

On the way back to Knock, RVR's still below minima, they will do one round of the hold and then divert to Liverpool.

Not a clue, but I'd imagine so.

Off to Liverpool, realistically their chance of getting in was slim.

It's inbound anyway, just north of Wales now.

I notice Flightradar is messing up it's flight path too, always something or other wrong with FR24.

EI595 MAD-DUB gone around at DUB, 21:30 METAR reports clouds broken at 100ft so I'd imagine due low visibility, LVP's look to be coming into place now.
