ya strangely it seems to be heading to Shannon now.

As pointed out, its UA76 on flightradar.

    Airlive.net says it's a "maintenance issue"

    This post has been deleted.

Well hopefully they get it sorted and back in the air soon regardless of the flight number. Between the app and site showing on Chrome - it changed from 76 / 56.:D

RWY16 in use at Dublin, anyone know why?

Also, the weather at Cork has changed fairly rapidly from 2pm to 2:30pm!

As of late they've been showing more and more, don't particularly know why. They're unarmed civilian aircraft realistically, some of which are used (albeit less and less) for transporting troops.

To be honest I don't know why they're blocked at all. The 767 inbound at the minute just looks like a normal flight of a 767, could be passenger charter or cargo, but when it's blocked it just arouses suspicion.

LCY 407 of Lyndon Air Cargo left Shannon a few minutes ago. My guess is on a US Military charter

If it was P4-LAS, then its also possible that it was repositioning after a contract.

It's P4-LAE, eastbound from the USA and over the Paris area at present.

Is there a weather issue at Cork? The SOU-ORK just went around, the ORK-MAN seems to be lined up for RWY25, and there's been a lot of holding etc

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,321 ✭✭✭Foggy43

Wind is 25kts and broken cloud at 2,100ft. May have been bad weather over the airport?

Strong gusty winds from the North West, 3pm METAR gives 300 degrees 25knots, although the TAF gives it gusting up to 40kts until 3pm.

FR703 STN-KIR on quite a deviation due to weather!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,321 ✭✭✭Foggy43

Should have added wind direction is 300 degrees WNW and cumulonimbus cloud.
