I was told the Garda/air corps defender was out for the funeral aswell?
Shocking the cost to the state that one scumbags funeral costs.

Imagine how much the undertaker will make!

Would this be a reason for its transponder to be broadcasting (obviously FR24 isn't relied on by ATC and or traffic!!)

Most likely transponder was being picked up by several receivers at once which generated the signal. Height will most likely have been for operational reasons plus at the end of the day its a funeral so it would be slightly quieter higher up.

I've seen the helis up at 10,000ft for air tests and paradrops by the Mil EC135's

I saw the Garda helicopter over Tallaght on FR24 I think on Friday.

Just noticed that Ryanair have another LJ45 now, M-ABJA. Callsign was briefly RYR3 yesterday into Dublin from Stansted.

Appears to have been delivered around the third week of January, ex-N849BA.

    Joins M-ABEU and M-ABGV.

Severe gusts today! Was at end of RWY16 and saw EI163, windshear just at start of flare, dropped hard onto the runway and bounced before going around. Ouch. Said he'd divert to SNN if he didn't get it down on second approach but was on the ground in DUB 20 mins or so later.

Flybe (Stobart) BE821 unable to land in IOM, I suspect due to wind, looks to be heading back to Manchester or else Liverpool. ATR-72-500, EI-REM.

That was operating STN-IOM earlier and diverted to MAN.

I was thinking the altitude of FR225 for RWY28 was wrong!

    Why's 34 in use?
