Ahh, the Algerian AIP does show that straight line there, and is much more recent than the Libyan one. Mystery solved – Algiers FIR it is.

Saw a BA flight land at about 9/925 and it was a 777, checked it on flightradar. Been trying to find it online but no record of it. Anyone else see it?

Anybody know for what reason a helicopter would be flying this low inbetween parked aircraft at dublin today? It came from the hangar area, following close behind an Aer Lingus plane that was being towed away from the hangars?

LYC403 is showing up on FR24 as "C130" unsurprisingly.

Is this in advance of the works on the runway at SNN over the summer?

Eastern Airways Flight 9700, an Embraer 145 just left Knock. Charter or what's the story? Very late departure for Knock.

You're right, thats very late for NOC, It must have been a charter of some sort, where did it go to ? Do you know the reg?

Very simple to look this information up on Flightradar 24 using the playback function.

The aircraft (G-CGWV) was operating Knock-Cardiff.

Putting one's detective hat on, the next question is why this would be needed, and what event was on in the region last night?

Answer: Connacht -v- Scarlets played in the Pro12 at the Galway Sportsground at 19:35.

Therefore I would suggest that this was a team charter for Scarlets bringing them home to South Wales after the match.

Interesting that the Airport opened up specially for it given that would require all of the support functions to be fully staffed as well.

It had earlier operated into Knock on a positioning flight from Bournemouth at 22:30.

What's going on at DUB? serious amount of circling the airport, I've just seen two sets of jets looping over the wicklow mountains while out walking. They were not 3km apart either, well maybe they were, hard to judge from the ground.

Change of runway, holding was to let the last few 28 departures off on there way.
