It can be inaccurate, but often it's not.

Don't really understand peoples hatred of Wikipedia, this is a discussion, not an official disclosure.

Did EI-LBS do a training/test flight this evening or did it have to return from a transatlantic flight? Doesn't seem to have a scheduled flt. no. so maybe a technical sortie of some sort?

(Apologies for the huge file.....couldn't resize it for some reason)

No Aer Lingus TA flights from SNN today, and especially not at 4pm (USPC closed).

    Likely some sort of Training/Maintenance.

Also noteworthy is the go-around. It's likely not got to do with the wind. (Only 16kts)

Test flight after maintenance. The new 757 for EI has had its winglets fitted with engines to follow shortly.

A new 757? So they have 4 now?

Interesting 737 N321GG belonging to gogo Internet provider used as a flying test lab just approaching the west coast.

The new Dxb-Akl has disappeared from FR24 map.
Last I saw it, EK448 was east of Mel heading to Akl and it just has gone to 'unknown' status. Why?

    Loss of ADB-S signal.

Private 727 currently in Belfast City is due to depart on Wednesday around lunchtime. Should show on FR24, reg is N800AK. Black / red / grey livery looks rather like Trump's livery but apparently not one of his.

Oh, apparently it was one of his! But he sold it for the 757.

Ryanair from Paris to Shannon in the hold outside Shannon. climbing now to 8000 feet. making an approach soon.

Fairly bad squall passing over Shannon at the moment, due to that I'd say.

I'll take a guess at this and say it's Adele at the start of her concert tour.

She's playing Dublin on Friday, so we'll wait and see where the 727 goes next!

Edit: Update - Twitter debate seems to suggest either Adele or a group of Far East Businessmen

    10:45 727 N800AK dep Belfast, heading south-east

    http://fr24.com/N800AK/8f9b9f0

Another rumour about its occupants is a group of Dubai-based investors looking at property in NI.

Adele was in a corporate CRJ that departed a bit earlier in the morning.

    EI-LBR flew DUB-SNN as EI990
    EI-LBS flew SNN-DUB as EI991

    According to FR24 anyway...

Anybody know the reason for that? ?

Could be part of the J Class seat refit....perhaps one leaving DUB to get refitted, the other returning to service after refit?

  • Registered Users Posts: 493 ✭✭MoeJay

Tail swap for maintenance as has happened a few times, whether or not it involves the refit only the Shannon spotters will know if it goes into the hangar....!

If I remember correctly, the SNN JFK doesn't start up again for a couple of weeks....?
