RYR7ZW STN-NOC going into the hold east of knock for at least 30 minutes. Snow still been cleared from runway with a moderate snow shower falling at the minute.

Contact lost with Russian airliner that left Moscow on a regional flight

Edit: report since updated to say the aircraft has crashed and "no chance" of survivors.

    Dreadful.

Just looked at it on flightradar. Just dropped serious altitude in 10 seconds. Frightening.

EI765 Tenerife to Dublin has returned back to there shortly after takeoff following a brief period of holding. EI DVM (retro) is the a/c concerned.

A Thomas cook A330 took off this evening from Manchester with no destination shown. It did a u turn over Leitrim and is just about to land in Manchester again. Would it be just a training run?

I heard a loud plane over the house and looked it up. flew over North Longford at about 25,000ft. See it landing there now. 441520.PNG

More likely a test flight after maintenance/repair I’d say.

Antonov An12 went over here at FL270 but made more noise than an ATR flying 20,000 ft lower!

Same airline (Cavok Air, UR-CKM) woke me at 5:57 this morning. Flightradar said he was at 27k but sounded like he was at 10. Very loud ! heading from St.Johns to Eindhoven

I'm in Limerick so I opened up my ADS receiver and got the data that way

There was a small plane doing laps out over Dublin Bay SE towards Dun Laoghaire and back in over Sandymount strand today about 1.45pm. Checked FR24 at the time, but wasn't showing there.

Didn't look a million miles off the Govt jet in size, maybe a bit smaller (ie not a little one man job).

Anyone know what it was (at)?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,505 ✭✭✭VW 1

Think I asked this here before, was given an answer along the lines of it being a quarterly test, possibly for the air corps? The plane doesn't have a receiver that's picked up on FR24, hopefully I remember the details right.

Anyone know what going on with EI125. Took off from Dub and then went north, was holding off coast, then went north and now heading west?

Edit: Now seems to be heading back north.

https://www.flightradar24.com/EIN12C/106da2d4 looks like an issue with EI DUZ?

    Seems to be undercarriage issues
