SNN is closed, it won't get in here.

ETH505 heading southeast over Ireland at FL390 - possibly going direct ADD without any Dublin-bound pax?

Would it need to refuel? Maybe LHR or CDG?

Yeah probably just slightly out of range.

It may be lighter if they left LAX without Dublin bound pax on board if they knew they couldn't stop in Dublin

Dublin Airport Airfield is now in the possession of the DAA. No more incoming out outgoing flights and ATC is shut down.

Isn’t the airfield always in the possession of daa?

It's more a terminology I suppose, when ATC hands over operations to DAA so maintenance etc don't need clearance from ATC for movements.

Going to LHR by the looks of things.

Just landing at LHR now. Good timing, an EI flight from Dublin was due at 19:50, must be a few spare slots with all the cancellations

West Atlantic NPT01A, Belfast - East Midlands, seems to have turned around and is heading back to Belfast.

At this current moment there is not 1 aircraft over the republic of Ireland at 8:10pm. Bizzare!

(Will some will be transiting over soon)

Its effectively in Christmas day mode

Tower is still staffed so if an emergency or the coastguard heli is tasked there is ATC service

I’m sure all sectors are staffed, as IAA is completely distinct from daa.

As a response to representations made to us, I have just deleted a number of posts that were spreading or discussing a fake news suggestion relating to the DAA running out of deicing fluid. If you're going to make accusations of that magnitude, please provide some backup for the comments to avoid problems going forward.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    DUB Tower: "How are ya?"

DUB maintenance: "I'm a bit cold!"

ETH502 went non-stop to YYZ. The flight is changing to a direct ADD-YYZ shorrtly in any case.

EI104 (JFK), EI118 (IAD), EI122 (ORD), EI128 (YYZ) & EI130 (BDL) all airborne and headed for Dublin. EI134 BOS-SNN also airborne.

Good to see a few Shamrocks back in the sky after the last few days.
