I'd say not every morning, I've done it a few times and its kinda cool, but AFAIK from hearing on here, there are a surprisingly rare set of circumstances where it can be done, not limited to other taxiing aircraft, flow into the UK and a whole lot else.

Taxiway A is open again after being closed due the 2 Ryanair collisions. That helps matters efficiency wise.

Very strange departure paths from Knock this afternoon, by FR1743 to EMA and a GLF6 (N270LE of Liberty Insurance). Anyone know why?

This jet2 plane just flew very low over cork city, 4000 according to flightradar , looked to have its nose pointed upwards when it flew over? Very strange since jet2 isn’t in cork. Unless it’s testing something or else it’s hust gearing up to fly to somewhere else most likely

Edit: looks to be coming back around!

Sikorsky S-92A flew pass my house in Cork City. Currently south of Unionhall. Seems to be reacting to a call.

Marinetraffic.com also show CG helios. Much handier than FR24 for SAR stuff.

Indeed, it was Rescue117 (EI-ICS) I was following. ICS is the replacement for ICR that was lost in Mayo, and ICS is the only member of the fleet with an ADS-B transponder so is consistently visible on FR24. The rest are sporadically visible when in MLAT reception territory.

ICS went out of radar coverage so the requirement for top cover explains it.

Out of radar and IIRC out of radio range while at lo-alt? So the top cover acts as relay to MRCC.

UA971 FCO - ORD 767-300 circling off the west coast about to divert to SNN with what seems to be a full emergency call out as a large amount of local fire brigades arriving at the airfield.

Some gobshiite wrote bomb on board on a note in the toilet.

Gardai are screening all passenger's handwriting before releasing them.

Huge number of emergency personnel and resources deployed.

Colossal waste of money because somebody thinks they're a comedian

258 is just after taking off from Naples after a stopover on its way home from Athens.

Perhaps some other reason for stopping there

258 stopped in Naples again last week coming home from Tel Aviv after Simon Coveney went over to meet Benjamin Netanyahu

Must be some agreement for stopping there.

HU749 descending into Edinburgh. Will depart at 8am bound for Dublin. Quite a long layover at EDI, although it has a 6am expected arrival at EDI.

    Airbus A330-300

STN is an absolute disgraceful for the last few months. The SNN-STN is delayed every morning, that results in knock on delays to SNN flights which can then mean the last flights for the night arriving back 2/3 hours later than scheduled.
