STN is an absolute disgraceful for the last few months. The SNN-STN is delayed every morning, that results in knock on delays to SNN flights which can then mean the last flights for the night arriving back 2/3 hours later than scheduled.

Yeah my friend got trapped over there , only found out an hour before his flight that it was cancelled . Needless he wasn’t happy. Ryanair not the best help either at the desk but hopefully today’s flight won’t be delayed.

Just looking at this morning, the SNN-STN left SNN 15 minutes late due to a slot in STN. Because of that it's not due back in til 11(35 minutes late) which means the REU flight is now going to be nearly an hour late leaving.

UA971 FCO - ORD 767-300 circling off the west coast about to divert to SNN with what seems to be a full emergency call out as a large amount of local fire brigades arriving at the airfield.
Discussion on this diversion on Pat Kenny show this morning, about halfway into first hour:

Does the Joinery own Cirrus OK-OKP? May of replaced the C210
I don't believe so, that one usually heads out on a Monday and returns on a Friday. It seems to be just N272NR, and 2-CLEV operating flights under the CRX callsign at the minute.

Did they own a C210 previously? Before my time.

Down on second attempt. Wind is 230 degress 25 gust 36 so hairy landing conditions with the crosswind onto Runway 16.

TCX2FC go around at Belfast International. Rough Night

Am in Glasgow airport at the mo and most of the Stobart flights to Dublin are flagged with modest enough delays, presumably due to the wind.

Our FR flight from Dublin to here this morning was delayed out by 40 minutes. Ops were using 28 but there was some pretty impressive queing on the taxiway's and R34.

I also caught sight on the M1 at 5:30 of the incoming Hainan doing a go-around. It was the right decision because it was taking a pasting in that gale. But made for one impressive sight though!

Istanbul to Birmingham just landing in dublin now. TK1969

Is that an FR24 error? It also did an unusual loop over the English channel.

Don’t know, but could be that the incident above blocked the runway and forced a diversion?

BHX is closed, Norwegian shat itself on the runway, in the middle of cleaning it up

Just heard a jet flying very low over Galway city, very overcast so couldn't see it, checked it out on flight scanner. its EXS051B, looks like its turning back, anyone know why it would of dropped to 10,000 then 7,000ft turning around over galway, looks like its climbing again now

Thanks, another quick question, it flew directly over Dublin airport, if it wasn't landing there would it not avoid the airspace, fly either north or south of the airport, instead of getting in the mix of approaching or landing aircraft?

Long journey in a PC12. 2 large business jets parked up there this evening, alongside N492CA arrived this morning from YQX and several others took off today. Very busy with all this transatlantic traffic.

Given that it has international flights to/from Germany, Spain, Portugal and the UK I think that’s a given, don’t you?
