CS-GLF GLEX en route Cork-Dublin. Originally routed down from Dublin this morning so likely Tim Cook's choice of transport.

As part of a discussion regarding "What is your closest encounter with an airplane crash?
    https://www.boards.ie/b/thread/2057882371/10#107304326

Would one of you mind reviewing the following flight and see when/if he passed a United flight over the midlands and how close were they to each other.

Ryanair Knock to Stansted on 26/04/2017 flight would have departed Knock about 10am and this occurred over Irish midlands.

    Thank you

They passed each other around Athboy. The UA 772 never passed directly over him and it was at fl320 and his flight was only at just over fl260

Anyone else having trouble with the Flightradar App on an iPhone?

Mine won't register flights on mobile data, only when I'm on Wifi.

Just noticed Cork Airport having problems. Looks like they are awaiting a crane to lift an aircraft, a Cessna Citation I think, off the runway. Airport currently closed listening to ATC.

    Edit. The Crane has arrived!

EI-WAT which is far from a Citation, nose gear collapsed.

Thank you for the correction. The Citation must have been the first landing aircraft behind the Tecnam to have been put in a hold then. Looks like the Citation landed on runway 25.

The Tecnam is now on a low loader. Now awaiting a few lads with yard brushes.

This morning's PVD-ORK D81820 turned around en route and diverted to Gander. EI-FYG being ferried in from CPH to operate this evening's D81821 return flight. Anyone know the reason for the diversion?

Edit: D81820 to depart Gander at 11:30pm local time tonight (3am our time)

That looks like it had to come over on a non ETOPS route, so probably dispatched under MEL rules that meant having to be within 1 hour of an alternate landing runway.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

There is a aircraft doing laps over roughly just north of the liffey in dublin its not on FR24. I think its a OSI plane that was in weston earlier. Would they have the airspace cleared for them as there is not to many other aircraft flying over

FR701 STN-KIR go around on runway 08 at Kerry. The last day you'd expect a go around.

Luxair LGL7115 DUB to Faro got as far as the Scilly Isles and is now back circling over South Dublin at FL170.

Edit: Now making an approach. 17.50

I'm sure there is a reason why an FR departure from Liverpool to Barcelona performed a circle immediately after take off but I'm damned if I can guess it. Anyone?
