    I see these guys frequently in the Middle East and wonder what on earth they can carry that cant go on a B777

    I think it's more of a case that they can carry cargo to places a B777 can't. They do a lot of transport of oil equipment in and around Africa.

    Silver has most of what you'd want I think vs Gold. Indicated airspeed, GPS altitude, mach and so on are left out at silver (you still have the regular figures) but I think you're getting into really specific stuff at that stage. Playback is 60 days vs 180 days. 10 filters vs 20. Cloud and precipitation is a Gold feature but you get wind with silver. Map layers are probably the most significant difference you'd use on a daily basis if you like them.

    The EI Regional aircraft (EI-FAT) that diverted to Glasgow yesterday was swapped with EI-FAW in Glasgow and flew back to Dublin as EI 3227 also yesterday.

    Anyone got any insight into why an aircraft wouldn't be able to do Cat III landing? Listening to liveatc and an FR inbound was advised Low Vis procedures in place and to proceed for Cat III arrival. He responded they are only able to do Cat I. He was told "up to him".
