Dublin ground challenging rescue vehicles and a stobart to a snowball fight.

    EI527 CDG-DUB gone around.

Departures not moving whatsoever, many requiring deicing. Last departure over 45min ago.

RNAV approaches only, ILS is out of service. Visibility just good enough for the RNAV. (Edit: Just as I type it, ILS is back).

VIE-DUB also looks to have gone around

Approach are still saying non-precision. Does that mean the G/S is not working?

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,181 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

10 ryanair aircraft holding due to deicing delays, some aircraft have been waiting in excess of 1hr 20mins.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,445 ✭✭✭cml387

Actually it might be a DME problem?

Just after landing.....3 hours ago. Finally disembarking. A joke, and such moderate snow

  • Registered Users Posts: 110 ✭✭Sisco14

Wouldn’t fancy being being on a plane flying into Dublin, like the rest of the country, we weren’t expecting the amount of snow in such a short time.

Still 2 FR flights yet to land in Dublin from Nice and Warsaw

Bit weird seeing Ryanair flights inbound with the EI transatlantic arrivals

Some roar from the An12 going over Dublin at the moment.

Heard it and was going that Flybe is low then realised it was the An12. 25k feet over Clonee D15.

Off goes Flybe now, sounds wimpy at 6k feet.

    Yep
I heard the An and I thought it was the Dash 8 but 5 mins later that flew over

Etiopian ET-502 Addis Ababa to Dublin squawked the 7's and descended rapidly towards Jeddah approx 2hrs ago. Not long after that, it climbed back to cruising altitude and is on its way back to Addis Ababa. Currently on approach and should be landing shortly

Yikes. Something serious with it for sure. Decompression or something equivalent?

Anyone know why the EI122 just went around off Runway 10 and then switched to 28? The wind seems to be coming from the south so not a tailwind problem and the cloud and visibility seems to be fine.

Just looking at EI186 this evening, anyone knew what’s going on with it

Two missed approaches and is now diverting back to the UK. Noticed it as I heard the warble of an AN12 passing over.

Edit: Might be a glitch. 186 is the flight to London.

Very odd - is it heading for Birmingham now?

    Think you're right it's a glitch.
Dublin airport website says EI186 departed at 20:50

No it must be a glitch as you can see it’s landed and taxied around two separate directions!? So it’s possibly a glitch, the aircraft landed from Heathrow, and turned around and departed elsewhere but Flightradar hasn’t copped ..?
