G-NOAH has a fondness of Cork! Anyone know who could be flying ORK-BGI all the time?

Owned by a rich famous horse person under guise of a company in UK

Ops going to RWY16 at DUB?

Edit: Nope, but very strange approach path flown by WX105 and FR205.

There's something happening in North County Dublin. Don't know what though. Just heard ATC saying something about "danger area D1 activity". Anyone shed some light on this?

D1 is the air firing range at Gormonston.

It will be active every day until the 28th of May.

Any ideas what times that will be happening? Would love to go and have a look at it!

The NOTAMs state that its active between 0830 and 1630, so 930am to 530pm daily. Although I wouldn't expect much activity over weekends.

Given the nature of air to ground gunnery, good weather is generally required, ie a cloud base of several thousand feet and good visibility.

If the current trend of good weather continues I believe you will see plenty of activity.

The troops on the ground in the area may give you an indication as to if and when it will happen.

G-POWD flying as ZT591 is, I believe, currently bringing the Star Wars cast and crew from BFS to ORK...

Hehe:D Must be the very similar reg's on the aircraft.

G-POWD, a titan 767 Flew from BFS-ORK, with the Star Wars crew, yes this is very notable, because widebodies in Cork are rare.

G-POWW, a titan A320, flew Liverpool to Basel, not cork, with the Liverpool team.

IMX354 requesting a VOR approach to RWY34 (RVR at threshold is 2000m+) because the RVR at the threshold of RWY16 has gone to 400m and they required 550m.
