There's a white plane with a red line down the tail and right up the fuselage, Parked outside T1.

Doesn't look like a Boeing or Airbus, so am wondering what it is. And any idea what it's here for?

My guess is either Netherlands team or Bruce Springsteen entourage.

What does test bed mean and what's it here for?

Doors were open earlier with people standing at the bottom of the stairs

Titan Flight ZT122 inbound Knock from Edinburgh. Very rare that they ever open this late at NOC. I was wondering why the METAR was updating so late!

I'm parked up there. Beacon on the old tower isn't lit up so power must gone alright.

How can power go at an airport?

Surely they have a back up for vital services

Yeah they do, they have a back-up generator!

If they didn't, how would I be listening to the transmissions?

Anyone know why EI239 (LGW-DUB) was delayed? My parents are on it.

London was well and truly delayed last night.... my Ryanair (FR112) from Stansted to Dublin was on time (well, 20 mins late leaving), but the previous Ryanair in the same direction was an hour and a half delayed, which led to the rather weird situation of two Ryanair flights from Stansted to Dublin leaving from adjacent gates (42 and 43). You can imagine the confusion.

Usually I applaud Ryanair but they could have been better and said "Two flights, adjacent gates, check your flight number carefully).

While, yes the passenger 'should' queue for the correct flight, the gate staff should also be checking boarding cards too. Dont be blaming the customers.
