Nearly sure I saw 2 planes taking off at the same time from 2 different runways this morning at Dublin. Was I seeing things or is this a frequent occurance(perfect weather conditions?)

Ryanair fr442 using the north west facing runway

Aer lingus using the west racing runway (didn't see the flight details).

No your eyes didn't deceive you :) . Its a fairly common proceedure for both 34 & 28 to operate simultaneously, usually during the morning departures rush when the weather conditions are favourable.
Especially enjoyable if you're on seated on the righthand side during taxiing for departure.

I think it's normal , even flight numbers used for Aer Lingus inbound to Dublin .

Its even flight numbers flying west to east and odd numbers flying east to west, of course there are exceptions to this

On searching FR24, - EIN146 was flying to Ireland but probably coming back into coverage showed to be facing west.

That looks like the weekly air-bridge flight from the UK via Ascension for civilians.

Its coming from south. The air bridge has rrr99xx

    This is unusual..

Training or evacuation from the polar regions?
