Squawk 7700 - Emergency (Technical, Medical etc)

Squawk 7600 - Emergency (No radio contact)

    Squawk 7500 - Emergency (Hijacking)

If any of these codes are inputted into the transponder the controller knows immediately there is something up with the aircraft

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.

Tell ya all now (most of you know already has to be said..) the takeoff from LCY was vertical. And there was no taxiing at all. Doors closed, crew and passengers (pax to you) strapped in and off we went. Was like a space ship LOL.

    My ears!

I'm a passenger and I haven't flown into or out of London for a while. My God.

Sorry not FR24 related at all, but I was watching it before I went. The amount of traffic around London is unreal.

Probably the wrong thread but anyway.

Anyone know what the craic is with the falcon holding over the Irish Sea just after departing from DUB? https://www.flightradar24.com/F2TH/ab8fa3a

Edit: Seems to be climbing away. Probably a change of destination requested by the passengers. Holding to change flight plan. Saw it on here once.

None, only private traffic and the helicopter. Same as WAT.

Sligo lost its PSO years ago and hasn't has commercial services since.

Lots of holding at DUB now, 2 rounds.

Pity we can't listen in! Hopefully it will be back soon. On a positive note this rarely happens, we have one of the most reliable feeds out there.

So really you could compare Waterford and Sligo with Weston, same set up, just private flights ?

Basically, just less private flights and they have a based rescue helicopter. The helicopter is what keeps Sligo alive.

14:30 METAR gives 140 degrees 17kts, nothing too severe to be honest.

    Both on the ground now.

    Both down safe now anyway.

Requesting a flypast for visual inspection of landing gear

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,176 ✭✭✭✭Oscar Bravo

going doing an ILS to runway 24, going breaking off for a visual fly past at 1000ft , if gear is confirmed down there going back for a second ILS approach and landing.

Departing from ORY at 1752 local (so 1652 Irish) - he's been in the air ~4hrs30. That'd suggest he had to turn around around ninety minutes from SNN... not the optimal time for a fire warning. Rough day in the office.
